Rock pool

Our topic for this term is Tidal Community. We learned about animals that live in the sea and made our own rock pool.
First, we drew sea creatures with crayons on a piece of paper which is shaped like a pool. We drew shark, seaweed, dolphin, shells, crabs, starfish and more!
Then, we dyed the pool in blue.
Lastly, we glued some glitters which make sand, and some cardboard papers which make rocks on the outside border.

It was very fun and we shared our rock pool at the Junior Assembly.

Now, our rock pools are displayed on the wall in our classroom so our parents can see them when they come in.

Assembly award

On Friday the 20th of March, Room 10 has won the trophy for having the best manner at the assembly.
We were very proud!
Congratulations Room 10! We rock!!

Bubbles

In week 2, we read a big book called "Bubbles".
We tried blowing bubbles outside.
We created a piece of art by blowing bubbles on the paper.
We used different colours of bubbles to make our work beautiful.
We tried to blow bubbles very gently so it doesn't pop without getting on to the paper.
We had FUN!

Room 10's Name Graph

For Maths, we made a name graph.
We counted how many letters there are in our name.
We discovered that "Terrance" and "Danielle" have the longest name.
Terrance and Danielle have 8 letters in their name.
We also discovered that "Ruby", "Ryan", and "Jake" have the shortest name.
They have 4 letters in their name.
